Dates: November 1st and November 2nd (Time Varies/ See Below) Wednesday, November 1st Time: 2:30pm-5:30pm (3 Hours) Location: Hilton San Francisco Union Square (333 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, CA 94102) Job Duties: Individual must be fluent verbally in Mandarin and English -- no degrees needed, and no written skills required. Will make 6 formal presentations in Mandarin. Materials will be provided 2-3 weeks in advance for preparation. ************************* Thursday, November 2nd Time: 8:30am – 5:30pm (One hour lunch break/ Box Lunch is provided); Meet your client no later than 8:15am (9 Hours with 1 hour break) Location: Hilton San Francisco Union Square (333 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, CA 94102) Job Duties: Individual must be fluent verbally in Mandarin and English -- no degrees needed, and no written skills required. The translator will be paired up with a supplier (i.e. Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority) during the 1 day to assist with one-on-one business discussions and appointments. A representative from the hiring company will connect the translator with the supplier a month before the conference so they have time to "study" the materials and get comfortable with their contact and materials. **Requirements/ Mandatory to attend two (2) Zoom Calls: 1. We will set-up a training call on the first week of October to prep for the conference and answer any questions with all translators. (1 Hour) 2. We will set-up an introductory call with each of the translators and their client to get training and information. (1 Hour) Compensation: $500 Company Check (Paid on November 2nd at 5:30pm)
